The SOHO In-Wall ACP (19") series cabinets are designed for use in homes and small offices. As the only built-in option in CONTEG’s portfolio, they are installed directly into the wall, which makes them an elegant solution for the core of the home network. SOHO In-Wall cabinets are equipped with 19" 4U rails for mounting passive elements and 19" 2U rails for active elements. It can accommodate patch panels, binding panels and other 19" elements (max. depth 300 mm). Binding panels and other cable management elements ensure a clear and structured routing of all types of cabling (copper, optics) even in the limited internal space of the ACP cabinet.

19" SOHO On-Wall ACP cabinets are designed for installation directly on the wall. Suitable for a wide range of use cases, these cabinets offer a more elegant design and a cost-effective solution for developers/home owners.

CoolTeg Plus DF is an inter-cabinet air conditioning unit based on an innovative two-liquid cooling technology combining water and compressor cooling. As such, the unit contains a unique, highly efficient heat exchanger that enables the use of free cooling. The key functional elements of the system are integrated in the indoor unit, and heat removal from the data center is realized by a hydraulic circuit. This circuit is connected to two branches within the unit – a water exchanger and a water-cooled condenser. The water exchanger is used mainly in winter at low outdoor temperatures, and the water-cooled condenser is used mainly in the summer months, when it is necessary to activate the compressor circuit. The unit operates in three different modes – free-cooling mode, compressor mode (direct vapor) and mixed (hybrid) mode, when both branches of the unit are actively involved, i.e., both the water and the compressor part.

CoolTeg Plus DF40 – this unique cooling unit with a width of mere 40 cm and a maximum power of up to 24.5 kW can be connected to a hydraulic circuit (water-glycol) with a pump and an external dry cooler. A great advantage lies in the possibility to connect a single unit or multiple units to one hydraulic circuit, or to connect a group of units to one hydraulic circuit and another group to another hydraulic circuit, or to connect all units (or groups of units) to any number of hydraulic circuits - there are countless options to save acquisition costs or to increase redundancy of the data center cooling system.

Compared to a water-based cooling system (CW unit) with chillers, the advantage of the CoolTeg plus DF system lies mainly in the redundancy at the indoor unit.

Compared to a compressor-based cooling system, the advantage of CoolTeg plus DF lies mainly in the integration of free cooling and considerable savings in operating costs (i.e., electricity costs) in the winter months.

Thanks to the extraordinarily wide range of options for connecting the units and hydraulic circuits, the CoolTeg Plus DF system is suitable for data centers of all sizes.

In addition to fans and control components, DX indoor units include a highly efficient evaporator for R410A refrigerant. Each indoor unit must be connected to a Mitsubishi outdoor compressor unit via a refrigerant pipe. This “split” system is controlled autonomously. Multiple units can be combined into groups under single control. Mitsubishi outdoor units are equipped with a frequency-controlled compressor, an electronic expansion valve and other high-end components. CONTEG offers three power types – 7 kW; 12 kW, 18 kW and 24 kW with continuous regulation. In our new CoolTeg Plus units, we leverage state-of-the-art technology and precise regulation based on our experience from data centers around the world. As the technology of fans, exchangers, compressors and control elements continues to evolve, we also innovate our products to ensure their best performance for our customers.

The units are equipped with power-efficient EC fans and an obliquely placed highly efficient heat exchanger. Temperature and humidity are measured in both the cold and warm zones, and the area for air intake and conditioned air exhaust has been maximized to optimize air distribution. The main differences can be found in the unit controller. We use a brand new controller with advanced CONTEG software and a new 4.3"" graphic color touch screen that matches the 21st-century air conditioning technology. One display can serve up to 16 air conditioning units in the data room with a maximum cable length of 500 m. The system communicates via the TCP/IP protocol, leverages an integrated web server and can be remotely controlled and supervised from a PC over the internet. CoolTeg Plus DX units are designed to be connected to selected state-of-the-art Mitsubishi Electric outdoor compressor units. CoolTeg Plus are the most modern units from the precision cooling family suitable for efficient cooling of server rooms and data centers of all types.

The refrigerant system is limited by the distance between the indoor and outdoor units (see detailed technical documents) and their height difference. Cooling operation is guaranteed in the outdoor temperature range from -15 to +46 °C. CoolTeg Plus DX with an outdoor unit is a highly efficient system with an environmentally friendly coolant, which is especially suitable for server rooms with a total output of up to 100 kW. Where a greater cooling capacity is needed, it would be more economical to use a water-based system. The cooling capacity of each unit is individually adjusted according to the immediate requirements by the power of the compressor, the opening of the electronic expansion valve and the speed of the fans of the outdoor and indoor units. When it is necessary to reduce the relative humidity of the room to a preset level, the unit automatically responds by reducing the air flow and increasing the cooling capacity. CoolTeg Plus DX units provide maximum sensible cooling capacity in relation to the latent cooling capacity thanks to an advanced humidity management logic. Year-round energy consumption compared to other air conditioning units is therefore significantly lower.

CoolTeg Plus CW are the most modern units from the precision cooling family, suitable for efficient cooling of server rooms and data centers of all types. Water-cooled units are connected to a chilled water distribution system, which is usually shared by all units in the data center. This can create a cooling system with unlimited power and scale. It requires only an appropriate design and implementation of the pipe system, pumps and sources of cold - chillers. In our new CoolTeg Plus units, we leverage state-of-the-art technology and precise regulation based on our experience from data centers around the world. As the technology of fans, exchangers and control elements continues to evolve, we also innovate our products to ensure their best performance for our customers.

Adjustment of the speed of the fans allows to achieve constant temperature distribution in the cold and hot zones of the data center. When it is necessary to reduce the relative humidity of the room to a preset level, the unit automatically responds by reducing the air flow and opening the water valve.

CoolTeg and CoolTeg Plus CW (chilled water) units deliver maximum sensible cooling capacity in relation to the latent cooling capacity thanks to advanced humidity management logic. Year-round energy consumption compared to other air conditioning units is therefore significantly lower. CoolTeg Plus CW units are perfectly suited for cooling systems with free cooling. Solutions with CoolTeg Plus units can be used for demanding uses cases, such as computing clusters, HPC (High Performance Computing), grids, bitcoin mining, etc.

CoolTeg Plus XC is a series of in-row cooling units based on the direct refrigerant evaporation principle. The compressor is located in the indoor unit and is connected to the outdoor air cooled condenser. The distance between the indoor and outdoor unit may be no longer than 60 m. Such arrangement protects all important components from climatic phenomena (heat, frost, rain, snow, desert storms) and allows cooling to operate independently of the ambient conditions within a temperature range of -40 to + 50 °C.

CoolTeg Plus XC30 - this unique cooling unit with a width of mere 30 cm and maximum power of up to 22 kW features a two-piston rotary compressor and BLDC control, which enables smooth adjustment of cooling power in the range from 10% to 100%. This extremely versatile unit is particularly suitable for smaller data centers or any use case where powerful cooling units would be oversized in terms of performance and price.

CoolTeg Plus XC40 - this cooling unit provides output up to 42 kW at a width of 40 cm. Currently the most efficient compressor is inverter-controlled and built into the indoor unit with an electronically controlled expansion valve and advanced control logic. CoolTop DX cooling units are designed for easy installation above IT cabinets, so they are ideal for effective targeted cooling of server rooms and large data centers.

CoolTop DX indoor units are connected to outdoor condensing units by means of a refrigerant pipe. The CoolTop DX unit includes a special exchanger with two separate refrigerant circuits.

In basic mode, one 19 kW or 24 kW outdoor unit can be connected to each CoolTop unit. If higher cooling capacity is required, a second outdoor cooling unit may be connected to increase the cooling capacity to up to 38 kW or 48 kW.

CoolTop is a solution that is not only economical, but also effective, serving to immediately increase the cooling performance without the need for structural modifications. CoolTop cooling units are suitable for closed cold aisle and closed hot aisle and can also be combined with CoolTeg units in the same zone/aisle.

CoolTop is a family of cooling units specially designed for installation on the top covers of IT cabinets in large data rooms and larger server rooms. They are ideal for use in cold aisle containments. This unique solution does not take up any floor space. The revolutionary cooling units are suitable for any type of data center, data center solutions with many racks and a lack of floor space, as well as for clients who want to save on energy.

CoolSeven is a type of direct vaporization unit for precision cooling inside cabinets. CoolSeven is a 7U high indoor unit installed on rails inside in a 19' cabinet and is based on a split cooling system, which consists of two parts - an indoor unit and an outdoor unit.

CoolSpot Top Mount (AC-TW xx) units provide appropriate cooling without taking up additional server room floor space that could be used for racks. The units are available in ratings from 2,200 to 6,700 Watts to provide the required cooling performance for each cabinet. The actual performance depends on the temperature of the cooling water and the air in the cabinet.

The air conditioning units are supplied with a special adapter – a roof plate that fits exactly to the respective CONTEG cabinet type and the size of the cooling unit. Naturally, the units require space above the cabinet for installation and service. CoolSpot AC-TW units are compatible with free-standing RSF and RDF series cabinets.

A great advantage of the Top Mount design is the option to supplement the system of the cabinet and air conditioning unit with a separation frame and plugs, which will perfectly separate the cold zone for IT components from the warm zone from which air is drawn into the CoolSpot cooler. The result is highly efficient, cost-effective cooling.

CoolSpot Wall Mount (AC-WWxx) units are a great choice for projects where there is insufficient vertical space to install Top Mount devices on top of the cabinets. Hot air is drawn into the cooler from the top of the cabinet. Cool air is blown into the lower part of the cabinet. The units are available with nominal outputs of 870 to 6,700 Watts. The actual performance depends on the temperature of the cooling water and the air in the cabinet. Two cooling units can be used for one cabinet to ensure redundant operation or to increase the cooling capacity.

The air conditioning unit is supplied with an adapter – a special side panel and base that perfectly fits the selected type of cabinet and the dimensions of the air conditioning unit. CoolSpot WW devices are compatible with free-standing cabinets of the RSF, RDF series.

CoolSpot CWs have been developed for locations where heat and noise from the compressor circuit might interfere with other operations in the room. The units require a connection to the building’s central cold water supply. The cooling capacity of each air conditioning unit is controlled by a 2-way valve according to the actual need in order to maintain the required temperature inside the CONTEG cabinet.

The CoolSpot TM-DX units are installed on the top cover of the cabinet (roof) by means of a special, precisely fitting frame. These units are compatible with rack cabinets of the PREMIUM Cabling RDF and PREMIUM Server RSF series.

The advantage of rooftop installation is the creation of a cold zone in the front part of the cabinet and a warm zone in its rear part. Such separated temperature zones are ideal for IT equipment and increase cooling efficiency. The CoolSpot TM range of air conditioning units covers uses cases with low, medium and high heat loads thanks to a cooling capacity of up to 6 kW. CoolSpot TM air conditioning units are therefore suitable for cooling of free-standing cabinets and as an additional system in data centers and server rooms with an undersized central air conditioning system.

When installing cabinets with this type of air conditioning unit in closed spaces, always make sure that there is sufficient headroom as well as sufficient heat removal capacity by ventilation or air conditioning of the room (up to 1.3x the cooling capacity of the unit).

CoolSpot WM wall-mounted air conditioning units are installed in place of one of the side panels of the cabinet. The side installation eliminates the need for overhead space. CoolSpot WM air conditioning units are compatible with PREMIUM Cabling RDF and PREMIUM Server RSF series rack cabinets.

The advantage of lateral installation is the option to fit the cabinet with two units from both sides. This ensures redundancy in the event of a failure of the cooling system. The CoolSpot WM range of air conditioning units is designed for low to medium heat loads (up to 3kW per cabinet).

CoolSpot WM wall-mounted air conditioning units use the same technology as rooftop air conditioning units. We can therefore recommend them as additional cooling for server rooms and data centers with an undersized central air conditioning system, or for standalone cabinets.

When installing in closed spaces, always make sure that there is sufficient heat removal capacity by ventilation or air conditioning of the room (up to 1.3x the cooling capacity of the unit).

The CoolRAC DF indoor cooling unit combines the advantages of CW and XC systems – Free-Cooling (free cooling) for low and medium outdoor temperatures and compressor-based cooling for high outdoor temperatures. This system therefore achieves minimal operating costs without the need for compromises.

CoolOut units are outdoor condensing units designed for precise compressor cooling. These units are equipped with an inverter-controlled rotary DC compressor with a cooling capacity of up to 8.1 kW.

Thanks to the hot gas bypass technology, the cooling output can be adjusted up from 11% of the total cooling output, regardless of the outdoor conditions. A combination of a specially designed condenser, EC fans, and an optional dynamic condensing pressure control system minimizes the power consumption of the cooling unit as well as the level of emitted noise.

A built-in controller with special CONTEG SW software takes care of the operation of the unit and the correct functionality of all its components. The controller also ensures communication with the indoor unit over the Fieldbus protocol. Basic operating parameters of the outdoor unit can be monitored on the indoor unit. The design of the condensing unit allows its attachment to the floor or the wall. The CoolOut units are extremely user-friendly and simple to set up and operate. First start and operation is very easy.

Ventilation units and fans are used to cool the equipment installed in the cabinet using air drawn from the room. They mount either on 19"" vertical rails (horizontally) or in the upper or lower frame of the cabinet (installation frame required). Units with up to 9 fans available.

Effective, environmentally friendly, economical! New modern ventilators are powered by electronically commutated synchronous drives commonly referred to as “EC”. A major advantage of this technology, in comparison with AC technology, is its low power consumption. For example, our new VEC ventilation units have seven times lower power consumption at the same air flow rates. In addition, VEC fans offer air output up to 60% greater than DP-VEN.

Ventilation units are used to cool the equipment installed in the cabinet using air drawn from the room. They mount either on 19" vertical rails (horizontally) or in the upper or lower frame of the cabinet (installation frame required). Units with up to 4 fans available.

The panels mount on 19"" vertical rails and are used to cover empty positions in the cabinet (blind panels) or to pass cables through free positions in the cabinet (pass-through panels). The separation of cold and warm air in the front and back of the cabinet significantly increases the cooling efficiency of the cabinet. They cover empty positions in the cabinet to minimize air flow, increase energy efficiency and improve aesthetics.

The separation frame is used to create a cold zone in front of the installed equipment, which increases the cooling efficiency, as the fans of the installed equipment (e.g. servers) suck in cold air that does not mix with warm air. A modified version of the separation frames allows easier installation of cabinets in a row and their connection. This version is also compatible with the new DP-DR-UNI-Q quick-connect kit. If you use both products together, it is possible to leverage separation frames pre-installed by the manufacturer or integrator. Cabinets can be linked in a row without tools by a single person.

Cold air inlet deflector for side access to network elements is a flexible deflector compatible with any network chassis where side-to-side air flow is required. It is suitable for all types of rack cabinets with a width of 800 mm with type A rails. The deflector is designed for chassis heights from 5 to 25U and depths ranging from 450 to 710 mm. 3U of space above and below the chassis is required for proper airflow. A wedge deflector located on the exhaust edge of the chassis ensures proper airflow by driving the exhaust air into two directions, up and down. The deflector can be easily adjusted during installation on site according to the size of the chassis. Compatible with both type A rails and a separation frame.

The deflector directs the flow of cold air to the cold zone in the front part of the cabinet (provided cold air is supplied through a double floor and enters through the lower frame of the cabinet). Deflectors are available in two designs – for RSF/RDF series cabinets and for ROF. The ROF version is designed for cabinets with widths of 600 and 800 mm and depths of 800, 1000 and 1200 mm. The deflector can be equipped with a ventilation unit with three fans. This solution actively blows air into the cold zone. The version for RSF/RDF cabinets does not take up any space in 19"" rails and is easily installed in the bottom cover of RSF/RDF cabinets with a width of 600 or 800 mm.

The chimney solution is designed to remove hot waste air from the cabinet to the ceiling soffit. The chimney is made of 1 mm steel sheet with powder treatment; the delivery includes an upper cover for attachment to PREMIUM series cabinets, a sealing set ensuring an ideal seal between the cabinet and the ceiling soffit. The height of the chimney is variable between 750 and 1360 mm to accommodate to the local situation. A rear deflector is part of the chimney solution. It is designed to support natural flow of hot air through the chimney into the ceiling. It is designed for easy entry of cabling and a power line into the cabinet. Made of 1 and 2 mm steel sheet with powder treatment. The rear deflector requires at least 200mm offset of the rear rails in the cabinet.

The RAMOS Ultra main monitoring unit for remote surveillance of protected environments is suitable for server rooms and data centers where more than 8 sensors are required. With the use of expanders, this system can be expanded to up to 500 sensors to create a wide monitoring network.

RAMOS Ultra can record all trigger events and alarms in a database with a time stamp. Then unit features 8 intelligent ports with automatic detection that accommodate a wide range of intelligent sensors (to monitor temperature, humidity, water leakage, air flow, and access, to control relays, detect AC voltage, measure DC voltage, etc.). Sensors allow data collection and aggregation for presentation in charts to show trends in air flow, temperature, and humidity fluctuations.

The Ramos Optimax main monitoring unit provides remote monitoring capability for server rooms using sensors that measure temperature and humidity and detect intrusion, the presence of harmful gases or chemicals, or other potentially dangerous conditions.

The device features a very low profile, occupying only 1U of height in a rack cabinet when placed horizontally on rails, yet it supports up to 150 sensors. RAMOS Optimax can be expanded in 2 ways - either using basic BEX expanders (RAMOS-BEX-I8-D10) with a maximum total cable length of 10 m in one line, or using standard expansion modules (RAMOS Ultra O16, I8, D64, D128, D192, RMS-ACS-U-RDU).

Also available is a RAMOS Optimax GSM version with a built-in 4G modem and an external antenna. This version supports SMS notifications and can communicate over the GSM network. A built-in web server of the RAMOS Optimax unit (GSM) enables convenient setting, control and management from any location. LES-RACK is a self-contained, fully automatic fire detection and protection system designed for direct installation in 19"" racks with IP30 protection or higher, offering a highly effective and efficient solution for server, telecommunications and control racks/cabinets.

The LES-RACK-M1 unit offers a comprehensive fire detection, control, assessment, communication and extinguishing system. Larger server racks and adjacent cabinets can be protected with additional LES-RACK-M1 units. LES-RACK floods the protected area with clean gas until the fire is completely extinguished. The unit includes a reservoir with FK-5-1-12 agent, in compliance with TÚPO (Technical Institute of Fire Protection, authorized person 221). The non-pressurized solution enables air transport. After activation, the device can be filled with extinguishing agent at the installation site. For fire detection, each LES-RACK system is equipped with an optical fire detector connected to the assessment and control unit. The integrated control unit indicates the current status in the system, checks and assesses the operation of the fire extinguisher. The LES-RACK M1 system supports communication with the building’s fire alarm control panel (FACP).

A unique system that fully replaces conventional fixed fire extinguishing equipment and prevents fire with a guarantee of zero fire risk in the protected area of ??the data center. The solution is designed so that a fire cannot occur in the data center at all, thanks to the so-called hypoxic air (with reduced oxygen level). The hypoxic technology permanently maintains the oxygen level in the protected area of the data center below 16% (the usual level is 21%) for the entire life of the building. The 16% threshold is critical for the combustion process. A lower oxygen level makes it impossible for a fire to occur, but is still completely safe for human presence, as confirmed by the State Health Institute of the Czech Republic. The environment corresponds approximately to an altitude of 2,700 meters.

How does the system work? Ambient air (with a 21% oxygen content) is sucked into air pipes with a compressor and travels to a hypoxic generator which removes impurities and makes the air hypoxic (with an oxygen level below 16%). The hypoxic air is pumped into the data center room to prevent fire. Low-oxygen air escapes from the room, ensuring flow and ventilation of the space. The monitoring and control unit automatically monitors the room with oxygen sensors and ensures a stable and healthy environment with reduced oxygen level.

KVM consoles are designed for deployment in server rooms and large data centers. Consoles allow direct or remote access to individual servers or their stacks. Conteg KVM consoles enable easy configuration and management of servers from all major vendors (IBM, HP, DELL, SUN, and others). Their advantage is the integration of a KVM switch and a LCD console with a keyboard and touchpad into a compact unit with a height of 1U.

LCD holders are fitted with high-quality 17"" or 19"" SAMSUNG monitors. The design of the holder allows it to be folded so that the total height of the console with the LCD monitor does not exceed 1U. CONTEG Pro Server (CPS) software application for central management and supervision of the monitored environment and access using RAMOS hardware. It provides a real-time overview of the environment and security of the data center/server room at any time from anywhere.

The application is designed for the management of physical infrastructure - to control user access rights, CCTV cameras and environmental sensors, and for local or remote monitoring of integrated IT devices (PDU, UPS, IP cameras...). When an alarm is triggered, CPS can send notifications via SMS, MMS, and e-mail or perform various actions.

The application can also work in a “multi-tenant” mode, which allows to define specific administration and access rights for different users.

The power supply panels are placed in the cabinet either in a horizontal position on 19""/10"" rails, or in a vertical position. For vertical installations, we recommend ordering a universal holder (code DP-RP-VM-12).

The installed equipment is accessible through doors, side or rear panels. These serve as protection against unauthorized access while helping to ensure suitable operating conditions for the installed equipment.

DOORS

A basic element of the cabinet enclosure. They can be mounted at the front or the back of the cabinet, depending on the specific type of cabinet. The offer includes 10 types of doors with different characteristics. All doors are fitted with locks.

The installed equipment is accessible through doors, side or rear panels. These serve as protection against unauthorized access while helping to ensure suitable operating conditions for the installed equipment.

SIDE PANELS
Side panels restrict access from the sides of the cabinets. At the same time, they will allow access for infrastructure cabling installations, if rear access is limited. There are two types of side panels on offer.

REAR PANELS
The rear panel is used in cabinets where it is assumed that there will be no need to access the back of the cabinet frequently, or where the location of the cabinet makes it impossible to use the door. There are 3 types of rear panels on offer.

The PREMIUM series racks provide unlimited flexibility in planning their final appearance - mainly thanks to the exchangeability of the top and bottom cover. The portfolio includes 3 types of top covers and 9 types of partial bottom covers. This makes it possible to customize the location and types of openings for the entry of cabling into the cabinet. The covers create a unique interface between the cable routing and management systems outside and inside the cabinet. All the covers can be used for PREMIUM Cabling RDF and PREMIUM Server RSF series cabinets. They can be delivered installed on the cabinet or as a separate item (supplied in a cardboard box).

TOP COVERS

The top covers are undivided, in three different designs. They are delivered either installed on the cabinet or separately in a cardboard box. Covers are delivered complete with plugs for the cable inputs.

BOTTOM COVERS

The bottom covers are designed as multi-part. The complete bottom cover of the cabinet consists of 3 or 4 covers (parts). They are delivered either as installed in the cabinet or separately (individual parts) in a box. Covers are delivered complete with plugs for the cable inputs.

Load supports are used to stabilize equipment in PREMIUM, OPTIMAL and iSEVEN series rack cabinets. The adapters allow the installation of 19" equipment in a cabinet with a 21" rail spacing.

Optical trays are used to terminate optical cables in the cabinet. In addition to fixed and extendable optical trays, the portfolio includes also a full range of modular panels and other optical accessories.

Cabinets equipped with doors must be fitted with a suitable locking system. You can choose the type of lock depending on the product line. Some types of locks can be fitted with a semi-cylindrical insert with a different key combination to meet user requirements. Back panels can be used instead of doors. The type of lock can be specified for these panels as well. The types are identical with the side panel locks.

Modular plinths are used as an aesthetic and stabilizing element instead of feet or castors. If a filter is used, the plinth ensures a sufficient flow of filtered air. Can also be used to lay cables.

The USB modem is used for SMS messages, voice calls and MMS notifications directly from the device to a mobile phone or to a list of preset mobile numbers. This modem with RAMOS Ultra is a standalone solution and does not require additional applications.

Discontinued product Temperature sensor for placement inside cabinets measures temperature within the -55 °C to +75 °C range. Up to 8 sensors can be chained to a single smart port. The sensor is powered by the main device. Extensible with a standard CAT5/6 patch cable. The maximum cable extension length is 150 m for 8 sensors.

Relay Box 8 is a multi-port relay designed specially for advanced process control with 8 changeover relay contacts for manual control or control through notifications. Relay Box 8 is easy to control using sensors or detectors. The relay can respond automatically to changes of the sensor state. Relay Box 8 is simple to set up with built-in auto detection capability and a user-friendly web interface.

Automatic response to sensor signals gives users more flexibility in responding to changes in the environment. Automatic response eliminates the need for user intervention in emergency, as it can prevent damage, e.g., by activating relevant safety devices.

A smoke detector as an essential security element in data centers and server rooms should be mounted on the ceiling for the best possible smoke detection.

The detector emits a two-state alarm signal with 85db at a distance of 3 m from the device and is also equipped with an LED indicator.
